Magic Star Quilt Block
Join Margaret as she takes you through the steps to cut and sew the Magic Star block. For those who have taken Margaret's classes we're doing something a little different this time, this fabrics chosen in this quilt is inspired by the border fabric! You start with a chosen print and then choose complementary colors to put into your quilt!
The block size is approximately 18" once it's built up.
There will be a brief break for lunch so you can bring a bag lunch or order from a local restaurant.
To move the class a little quicker there will be a little homework before we start - just a little precutting of fabric so we're ready to get going on the blocks.
While you will complete some blocks through the day, you will be completing your quilt at home or you can join one of our sew days to finish your project.

| Requirements: | Your standard sewing kit; Sewing machine, ruler (6x24 recommended, 9 1/2" or 12 1/2" square), mat, rotary cutter, pen/pencil, pins, frixon pen, pins, scissors, There will be bias cutting so spray starch is recommended. |
